To our abilities, knowledge and skills, our relationships with other people, ways of interacting - all this can vary in its quality from "I am dumb" to "80th level of one left". Of course, it all depends on only two parameters - energy and focus.

We are strong not only with our hindsight, but also with empty rantings in the safe comfort of our favorite sofa. Because when there is no need to hurry and we are rested, we have enough energy and free will to adjust the focus of our own attention. Pressing circumstances, on the contrary, tightly condition and paralyze our will.

This kind of pressure is called stress. Exams, interviews, conflicts, traffic situations, fights, collective actions, and other similar circumstances usually limit us in time, leaving us with no time to think, remember and realize. We simply do not have time to turn to our own library of knowledge.

Instead, we are in a hurry to give out a decision, action, or reaction. And if we don't have time to build on the mind, we have to rely on feelings, instincts, and conditioned reflexes. And that means that in stress, we just fall to the lowest level of our training.

If there were none, you will just randomly wave your hands, turning away and closing your eyes. In a conflict, you will say stupidity, such as "call me with a transfer to yourself", and a murderous filigree joke will pop up in your head only during the subsequent analysis of the flights.

An unexpected additional question at an interview or exam will cause a nervous shake, and not a joyful excitement from the fact that there is another opportunity to make a better impression. And in order to competently get out of the skid on a slippery road, you need to learn this and work it out repeatedly, otherwise you will press all the pedals and turn the steering wheel in all directions without any sense.

Therefore, we need, on the one hand, to learn everything so extreme, and on the other hand, to reduce our level of stress. After all, it is not only external, but also internal. It's not so much in the circumstances themselves as in our attitude to them. If you reduce the importance of everything in a row and allow yourself not to hurry, you can see that the world is much more affectionate and calmer, what we used to think.

"I let me not rush" - let it be your daily mantra. Repeat it at any time when you think that you are late and the world is collapsing. Breathe smoothly and rhythmically, also walk and talk. Do all your business at a normal speed, because, no matter how you twitch, it will still not be noticeably faster or slower.

Ass feelings, illusions about the passage of time are very palpable. The calmer you are, the more energy you have and the more subject to your own focus of attention.

Ororize all your business and focus only on the first line, deliberately forgetting about everyone else. Remember that you deliberately want to be stressed in order to take advantage of your confusion. Don't give in, stay as serene as possible. "It's just a game, nothing of the ordinary." - here is the second mantra.

In a state of unhurried play, you will look much more dignified than if you squirm and be nervous, stuttering and giving out some childish reactions of justification. "Now we will slowly descend from the mountain and calmly cover the whole herd," as the old bull said to the young in a well-known anecdote on this topic.
