I have 3 years of experience teaching English in Ukraine, have international experience in teaching English abroad, worked for a year as an English teacher in China in Beijing in a training center, taught according to various modern European methods. For this purpose, I use educational videos, the use of which contributes to the implementation of the most important requirement of the communicative methodology: to present the process of mastering the language as an understanding of a living foreign language reality. The use of video in the classroom contributes to the individualization of learning and the development of motivation of students' speech activity. In the use of video films and video fragments in foreign language lessons, two types of motivation develop: self-motivation, when the film is interesting in itself, and motivation, is achieved by the fact that the student will be proven that he can understand the language that he is learning. It gives pleasure and adds faith in one's own strength and desire for further improvement. It is necessary to strive to ensure that students enjoy the film through understanding the language, and not only through an interesting plot. Another advantage of video is the power of impression and emotional impact on students. Therefore, the main attention should be paid to the formation of students' personal attitude to what they see. Successful achievement of such a goal is possible with the systematic display of video films and video fragments with a methodically organized demonstration. For elementary school students, I use various thematic video recordings and excerpts from the animated series "Magic English".
